A central focus of the design is the monolithic appearance of the counter, crafted entirely from a single material. The smooth surface is partially adorned with a relief pattern based on our proprietary Formfeld 2 structure. This structure is defined by a gradual transition from a flat plane to triangulated segments. The irregular, non-repetitive depth variation of the triangles increases toward the upper edge of the counter front.
In contrast to the execution for the law firm Zirngibl, where the same structure was used, the triangle proportions were adjusted here to create a rhombus-like appearance. The pattern continues seamlessly over the rounded counter edge, which required heightened technical precision in both CNC milling and mitered joining. The L-shaped counter measures approximately 3.8 by 2.7 meters and was completed in 2022.
