In 2020, in collaboration with AMU-Architekten, a bespoke furniture project was completed for the Munich-based law firm Zirngibl Rechtsanwälte. Crafted from CNC-milled solid oak, the design is driven by an algorithmic approach: a gradual, irregular transition from smooth wood surfaces to a triangulated pattern with a 7 cm edge length, inspired by the firm’s corporate identity. In the upper, tactile zones, the amplitude of the structure increases. Known as Formfeld 2, this geometry continues seamlessly across all mitered edges without repetition.
The centerpiece is a reception desk designed for two workstations, consisting of a tall, L-shaped main section and a smaller adjoining cube. Measuring 2.5 × 5.3 meters, it features a continuous surface with no visible joints.
For the meeting rooms on the upper floor, mobile media cabinets were also designed. These units can fully conceal a 2.3 meter diagonal screen, are height-adjustable, and adapt to various usage scenarios. Made from black lacquered solid oak, they also feature the distinctive Formfeld 2 pattern.
